The Andersons loaded into the big rolling turd (RV) to tour Death Valley.

Scotty's Castle is about 1.5 hours from Vegas in Death Valley. This hidden dream home gives insight into the life and times of the opulent roaring '20s then we seqway to the hard times of the '30s.
Walter Scott "Death Valley Scotty" is an ex-cowboy, turned performer with Buffalo Bill's traveling show (Bill fired him)/turned prospector met a wealthy adventurer, Albert Mussey Johnson. Scotty was known for his tall tales entertained paying visitors by telling stories and a colorful history of Death Valley's only mansion - he told visitors he financed the building himself with booty from a secret gold mine found under his bed.

Mom and Dad treated all the kids to the living history tour. The 1000 pipe organ played Christmas music, it was magical.
